A new Managing Director for Kaleidoscope

We are delighted to announce that James Kirk has been appointed as our new Managing Director.

James originally joined the company in 2015 as strategy director and has since worked with the likes of University of Liverpool, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and QVC.

It means co-founder of the agency, Mike Edwards will take on more of an advisory role across the business which is celebrating its 30th year throughout 2018.

“This is a landmark year for the business, and it’s been a great opportunity to reflect on our achievements but more importantly to identify what we needed to do in order to build the agency for the future. After a growth in fee income of 50% since 2015 the business is well positioned for its next chapter and I now feel is the right time to take a step back from the day to day operations” explained Mike.

“James has worked closely with me over the last three years and has become a key part of our talented team. He has the skills we need to lead the business as we continue to evolve our strategy and capabilities, and importantly he shares the same ethos that our success has always been based on – integrity, honesty and commitment. I look forward to seeing how James and his fellow directors drive the business on.”

Commenting on his new role, James said: “I am really proud to have the opportunity to become Kaleidoscope’s next business leader. Over a period of 30 years, we have earnt a fantastic reputation for delivering wonderful creative combined with top-level client service, and we will be focused on using this as our foundation for future growth.”
